Student Outcomes

This section of the Fact Book presents various measure of student outcomes, including access, completion, retention, degrees, certificates and transfer data.  Where available, the most recent state figures are used as a comparison.

 

Degree and certificates proportional trends have shifted the last ten years. The percentage of AA and AS degrees increased of all awards from 27% to 40% in that period, while the percentage of certificates requiring less than 6 semester units decreased from 52% to 31%. At the same time, the Certificates that require 6 to 17 semester units went up from 10% to 16% of total certificates awarded.
