The Sonoma County Junior College Fact Book 2014 is the fourtheenth annual publication presenting data on our community, student demographics and descriptive information, employee demographics and salary information, enrollment, institutional effectiveness, students outcomes, and college finance and capital outlay.
The Fact Book includes Summer, Fall and Spring information up to 2014, where data were available. Charts and tables go back three to ten years – with some charts and tables projecting forward five to ten years – to facilitate highlighting past and future trends to assist in program planning, decision-making and facilities planning.
The Office of Institutional Research converted the 2014 edition of the Fact Book to a data visualization format using Tableau. This format allows the data user, also known as a Citizen Researcher, to research deeper by analyzing metrics by demographics and comparing to overall State data when data is available. Side by side descriptive charts of internal and external data provide the Citizen Researcher comparison visualizations to help with decision making and planning. Every effort has been made to keep charts and tables from prior Fact Books available.
We hope the information presented here in this new interactive format is both interesting as well as informative, and that the Fact Book 2014 will continue to serve as a valuable resource to college staff and others who wish to learn about the Sonoma County Junior College District.
